To use LightScribe drive, you must install LightScribe System Software (LSS) and either LightScribe Template Labeler (recommended) or LightScribe Simple Labeler.
Note:
- These software is for Windows 10/ 8.1 Standard/ Home version only, not for Pro version
- You must either log into computer account as Administrator or have Administrator password to complete the installation

Step 1:
Install LightScribe System Software:
Download the LightScribe System Software (LSS) v1.18.27.10 Installer. Double-click the file and install the driver. Restart computer after installation.
Step 2:
Install LightScribe Template Labeler:
Download and un-zip LightScribe Template Labeler file. Double-click TemplateLabeler.exe dto install the software.
Step 3 (optional):
LightScribe Diagnostics Utility:
This utility (download here) is used to correct problems of LightScribe software installation. You do not need it if everything has installed correctly.
When the utility is started, it will scan your computer for the required system software, settings, and conflicts. If problem was found, you can change with “okay”, “proceed”, “allow”.
